Collaborative Problem Solving Seminar

Join Scott E. Fitzwater, Licensed Professional Counselor, for a seminar designed to teach the widely-accepted Think:Kids Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) model. For more than a decade, this evidence-based, and strength-based approach has demonstrated effectiveness with children and adolescents with a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.  Entire states and provinces use the CPS model to provide a common philosophy, language, and structure for a relational process of understanding and helping challenging kids. Alternatives to consequence and reward-based parenting are explored, and the group will focus heavily on the practical application of the model.
