Dr. Bonnie Flick came to Mind Matters, P.C. with over 30 years of experience providing effective and compassionate care for children, adolescents, and their families.

 

After working in special education for over a decade, Dr. Flick decided to pursue a career that exercised both her passion for working with children, and her interest in medicine.

​

She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio prior to completing three residency programs in Pediatrics, General Psychiatry, and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Utah. She is currently triple board-certified in each area of study.

​

Dr. Flick specializes in emotional and behavioral disorders, psychiatric issues in chronic illness, and supporting developmentally disabled patients and their families. She enjoys using comprehensive assessment, individual and family therapy, and medication management in collaboration with primary care providers and therapists to provide the highest possible standard of quality patient care.
