Tara K. Taylor, PMHNP
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Tara Taylor is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master’s Degree from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky and her Bachelor’s Degree from Linfield University in Portland, Oregon. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the National Academic Honor Society Alpha Sigma Lambda.
Prior to becoming a PMHNP, she worked as a registered nurse for over 16 years with experience in child and adolescent inpatient psychiatry, critical care, post-anesthesia care, and family practice. She has also held multiple nursing leadership roles.
Tara performs medication management and supportive therapy, and she is currently training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She has a special interest in ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety and Mood Disorders. She sees clients between the ages of 10 and 35.
Tara enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, going to Timbers games, board game nights with friends and family, escape rooms, volunteering, upcycling thrift store finds, and refinishing furniture in various fun colors, textures, and creative designs.
