Young Adult Services

youngadult.jpg

We recognize young adults are in a uniquely challenging stage of their lives. Defined as individuals between the ages of 18 and 25, this stage of life generally involves transitioning towards independence and an expectation of greater self-reliance.  Navigating these experiences inevitably may lead to increased "adult" level stressors.

Our initial assessment and diagnostic findings will guide comprehensive treatment planning and subsequent recommendations for clinical interventions and services.

Diagnostic issues we commonly treat may be, but are not limited to:

  • ADD / ADHD

  • Depression

  • Mood Disorders

  • Grief and Loss

  • Anxiety, Phobia and Panic Disorders

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

  • Adjustment Disorders

  • Trauma

  • Cognitive and Learning Impairments

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders

Your primary clinician will determine the best course of care.  Our collaborative treatment planning process may include one or several of the following interventions:

  • Medication Evaluation and Monitoring

  • Individual Psychotherapy

  • School Consultation and Collaboration

  • Group Therapy

  • Family Therapy

  • Theme-Based Skills Workshops
