Originally from Virginia, Kate journeyed west to attend Northern Arizona University, where she completed her undergraduate education. Upon graduation, Kate briefly moved back to the east coast, where she completed the master's program in counseling at Radford University.

But the west coast had stolen her heart, and shortly after graduating from Radford, Kate made her way to Portland, Oregon. It was here that Kate gained further experience providing counseling services, and ultimately discovered her passion for working with youth and their families.

In her free time, Kate enjoys running, hiking, camping, canoeing, working in her yard, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends.  Kate loves exploring the wonderful restaurants and shops Portland has to offer, and she feels especially honored to have made a career assisting those striving to make improvements in their daily lives.
